At SVR Machining, quality isn’t just a process—it’s a mindset built into every job we run. Our team brings decades of hands-on experience and a deep commitment to precision. Our track record speaks for itself: parts are rarely, if ever, returned.
We apply proven quality control principles—including Statistical Process Control (SPC)—to monitor and maintain tight tolerances throughout the machining process. Each job is tracked with detailed job sheets, and our documentation ensures traceability and consistency from start to finish.
Our inspection tools include calibrated micrometers, depth and chamfer gauges, and an optical comparator, allowing us to verify critical dimensions and features. Every part is carefully inspected before it leaves our facility, because we know our customers count on us for dependable, high-performance components.
TEAM & PASSIONS
Larry Sampson the owner of SVR Machining applies his automotive enthusiam to produce machined parts for motor and power sports in addition to other markets such as aerospace, defense, miliary, medical, robotics, marine, and industrial equipment. Melissa Sampson, Larry's daughter is the Office Manager.
DRIVE SHAFT COMPONENTS
These are the parts between the engine and the wheels, such as:
Driveshafts – transmit torque from the transmission to the differential
Axles / CV joints – connect the differential to the wheels
Differential housings – enclose and support the gear assembly
Gears & splines – transfer motion and torque within the driveline
Yokes and flanges – connect shafts to other components
Custom transmission components – e.g., gearsets, shift forks, input/output shafts
HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS
Driveline components demand materials and engineering that can withstand extreme stresses while delivering maximum efficiency.
Lightweight but strong materials (like 4340 alloy steel, billet aluminum, chromoly, titanium) provide the strength-to-weight ratio necessary for speed and responsiveness.
Precision tolerances reduce vibration and drivetrain losses, improving power transfer and vehicle control.
Durabile under racing or extreme-use conditions (off-road, drifting, etc.).
Often custom-built or produced in low-volume to meet exacting performance requirements.
